SUN-DOR-CO Frame Types
Interior doors are normally provided with flat jambs that have adjustable
stop; however, they may be ordered with either single or double rabbeted
jambs. Exterior door frames are either single or double rabbeted jambs
with 4 sill options, a choice of 2 weatherstrips, and 4 door bottoms
to
allow you more design freedom. At SUN-DOR we believe that a quality door
deserves a quality frame.
Flat Jamb
If one of our standard door stops does not match what you need, send
us a drawing. We will be happy to provide the exact stop that is required.
Rabbeted Jambs
SUN-DOR offers both single and double rabbeted jambs. When ordering
a double rabbeted jamb you have the option of specifying the stop width
or elect to use our standard 1-1/4” fixed stop. Either type jamb
may be ordered with spring bronze or kerf-in vinyl weatherstrip.
